Family History
Sidgifn Ornedwesfv and Zhez Hrafnes were originally from the forests of the Skatay Range, living in the traditional viera manner. Upon falling in love however, they decided they wanted something more than the infrequent and brief interractions afforeded by the ways of their people, so they left the mountain forests and traveled aimlessly until they eventually made it to Thavnair. Radz-at-Han was originally just another place to stop for a season or two, somewhere to try and earn a bit of gil before moving on, but they ended up settling down and starting a new life together. At first, they both tried to join the Radiant Host, being skilled in combat, but while Zhez adapted easily to military life, Sidgifn, a former wood-warder, was ill-suited for the strictness and hierarchy of a formal military. He ended up instead pursuing a completely different profession, training tirelessly under the alchemists of Radz-at-Han until he eventually earned a position specializing in refining raw ingredients to use for alchemical concoctions.After making their home in Radz-at-Han, Sidgifn and Zhez wanted a more formal declaration of having left the ways of their people behind and the new home they made together, so they decided to take a Hannish name for their family. After consulting with the friends they had made, neighbors, alchemists, and Radiant Host soldiers, they decided on the name Ozdemir. Soon after, they welcomed the birth of their first and only child, upon which they had another issue of naming to decide. In the end, they gave their kit a traditional Viera childhood name, while also deciding upon a boy's and a girl's Hannish name for when the child grew older. However, a friend of the family ended up inadvertently giving the child a nickname, noting the kit's pink coloring and sweet disposition, and observing that the child was like "a little strawberry." The nickname ended up being used far more than the kit's given childhood name. Upon growing up enough to become apparent the child was a boy, Sidgifn and Zhez gave their child the Hannish name of Muhteshem, though he continued to go by Strawberry.Early Life
From a young age, Strawberry knew he wanted to be a dancer, so he signed up for a troupe as soon as he could. He studied both performance dancing as well as the Hannish art of combat dancing. Additionally, he trained with the bow and spear under his parents, though with far less strictness than a traditional viera upbringing would entail. While they did not wish to raise him in the Viera fashion, they felt it only necessary that he have a varied martial skillset, and as fate would have it, Strawberry was adept in the physical and martial arts he studied.
